A view of the American Falls and Maid Of The Mist boat docks from the southwest corner of Goat Island. In this early wintertime view, the lower water level caused by the powerplants is very evident on the Canadian river bank. The level of the river drops 11 feet because of the powerplant diversions of the river above the falls.
