The end of the Whirlpool Rapids and entrance to the Whirlpool. Ontario is to the left of the river with New York to the right. This photo was taken about 0.3 of a mile southeast of Whirlpool Point. On the New York side of the gorge a section of the Whirlpool Rapids Trail (trail number 5) can be seen in down in the gorge.
