Otisco, New York Location: Southwestern Onondaga County in the Town of Otisco.
Blue Hole Falls is only accessible from the Stream Trail at Adams Eden Camp. This is the only publicly accessible route to Blue Hole Falls and other waterfalls in Rattlesnake Gulf. The trail is open from May 1st to October 31st and only during periods of low water. A period of heavy rain will cause the creek to rise and make access to the falls impossible. Check with the camp office on the condition of the Stream Trail before starting your hike. The creek-walking section of the trail is quite rugged, requiring scrambling over rocks and walking on a slippery creek bed. Proper footwear is essential. You will get your feet wet. Use caution and take your time to avoid a slip and fall. The property on the south bank of Rattlesnake Gulf and the Blue Hole is private property. Trespassing is prohibited.
